At Empower Yoga we offer the highest quality Beginner and Vinyasa style yoga classes. Additionally, many of our students enjoy our Yoga/Pilates class and Stillness Moves.

Yoga is primarily taught in the vinyasa yoga style. Vinyasa is a Sanskrit word that can be broken into two parts, nyasa which means “to place,” and vi which means “in a special way”. It is a form of yoga that focuses on the connection between breath and movement in a series of asanas, or physical poses. The pairing of breath and movement increases focus, concentration, and quiets the mental chatter we are often distracted by all day. This style of yoga promotes safety, power, and relaxation.
